Council on the Status of Women

To ensure alignment with UNC Policy 300.8.5, Equality within the University of North Carolina (the Equality Policy), the Council on the Status of Women—as well as any of its affiliated events, including the Sisterhood Dinner—is suspended for the 2025-26 academic year.

The decision was not an easy one, and was made with sincere appreciation of the Council on the Status of Women and all its members, current and past, for their impact and dedication to the work of the Council over the years.
